Noise Antennas

Noise Antennas

If not properly designed, the cables, power cords, and power distribution in your system can act like conduits for noise that interfere with your system’s ability to reveal music fully. Typical wire acts like an antenna and is capable of transferring frequencies into the gigahertz range and beyond.

For the best audio and power signal transmission this ultra high frequency bandwidth is unnecessary and actually introduces noise. Unwanted noise can also interfere with delicate, high-speed digital signals.

Custom Made

Because every connection in a system has different requirements for its specific application and the system layout, most Transparent products are custom made. Whether a signal is audio, digital, or power, each link has its own purpose, and the design needs to suit each specific application. Specialized connectors, terminations, cable geometry and materials, and frequency and electrical requirements are different for each type of application. As performance levels increase, more precision in all parameters is key including the level of skill and time required to handcraft these products.

Handcrafted

Handcrafted

From wooden spoons to wooden boats, Maine has a time-honored tradition of building with our hands with precision and dedication. This is of course long before terms like "bespoke" or "maker" ever entered our collective consciousness. One of the reasons that Transparent has been in Maine for nearly 4 decades is because of our access to a work force that lives and breathes this artisanal tradition. Most Transparent products are handcrafted in Maine, one-at-a time, by highly trained technicians to our exacting standards. Even our basic audio cables with networks are made in Maine. If a customer needs a special length or configuration at any performance level, our custom lab is there to fulfill the need quickly at little or no extra cost.
